Flying A was founded in Long Island in 1994 by stylish duo Maria Thomson and Gregor Kane. It now resides in New York City’s popular Soho, 169 Spring Street. Conceived as a “concept” store, Flying A is all about the unexpected. One of the goals was to provide styles and prices that suit everyone. Variety was also key and today you can find anything from cards to books, watches and high end fashion apparel, garments and clothes.
Another major draw is the truly unique and varied selection of fine vintage clothing, boots and shoes. Even the most style-challenged of individuals will find something that suits their fancy.
SPOTLIGHT: Vincero Watches
The Vincero brand has been hot, hot, hot this spring. Chronograph watches aren’t supposed to be this stylish and affordable at the same time. Take a look at what they got:
This Vincero review noted that “it’s not Swiss” but a great option for someone who wants to explore the world of chronograph watches. These watches come in a variety of styles. Our personal favorite is the Chrono S Watch with its suave, blue face.
SPOTLIGHT: Rose Gold Watches
We love the way that rose gold adds an unexpected hint of warmth to everything it touches. We especially love the way rose gold adds a touch of modernity to a vintage inspired watch, just like our favorite Nixons below.
We made the list! Check out the amazing vintage clothing scene in NYC:
